Did you know that Penns Grove High School is one of 352 New Jersey schools that are Sustainable Jersey for Schools certified?  PGHS achieved Sustainable Jersey for Schools certification at the bronze level in program year 2022. Certified schools are recognized leaders that are making important contributions toward the long-term goal of a sustainable New Jersey and the world.

About Sustainable Jersey

Sustainable Jersey for Schools is a certification program for public schools in New Jersey. It was launched by Sustainable Jersey, an organization that provides tools, training and financial incentives to support and reward municipalities and schools as they pursue sustainability programs. As of August 2022, 1,056 schools are participating in the program. Sustainable Jersey for Schools has awarded over $2.8 million in grants to schools and school districts.
