Winter Break READING CHALLENGE

During the Winter Break, each building is challenging its students to read as many books as possible. Ask your child for details on their school’s reading challenge. For our younger readers, the district has put together a Google Classroom- PGCP Reads- of video read-alouds by teachers and administrators.

The 2025-2026 Calendar has been updated. Schools will now be closed from December 22, 2025, to January 2, 2026. Schools will reopen on January 5, 2026!

The Salem County Department of Health & Human Services is reaching out to share a new resource guide developed to support residents who may be experiencing delays in their SNAP benefits or are otherwise struggling to access food.

The Salem County Food Resource Guide provides an up-to-date list of local food pantries, community meal services, and additional support programs throughout the county. Our goal is to ensure that individuals and families are aware of available resources and can access assistance in a timely and dignified manner.

On Tuesday, December 17th, at 7 pm the high school music department will put on their annual winter concert featuring the Penns Grove High School Concert Band, Concert Choir, Select Choir, and Jazz Band. Please join us for our free concert at the Penns Grove High School auditorium for an evening of music featuring our wonderful high school musicians!
