5th-7th Grade: Keep over summer
8th Grade: June 17th
9th - 11th Grades: June 17, 18, 22, 23
12th Grade: June 15th and 16th

Dear Parents/guardians,
I am writing to make you aware of some exciting news!. The building addition to PWC is progressing quickly and the contractors are ready to pour concrete for the building's foundation. This will take place on Thursday, September 11. This will not impact our school day or our operations at all. The bulk of the work is being done before students arrive and while students are in class. There may be a temporary delay on Smith Avenue while trucks are entering the construction area, but Penns Grove Police will be on site to support with traffic. As always, safety is our first concern, so thanks in advance for driving slowly and adhering to all traffic rules. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

PWC Back To School Night is September 3rd from 5pm-6pm!!

As part of our end-of-year process, we will be collecting Chromebooks from 4th-12th-grade students. We kindly request that you have your child empty the Chromebook case of all papers, pens, pencils, and non-technical items. We only want the case, charger, and Chromebook back. You may keep the earbuds if you were given a pair (MS and HS). Collection dates Seniors: June 12th Grades 9th - 11th: June 16th - 18th (after the last final exam, during gym periods) Grades 6th - 8th: June 10th - 13th Grades 4th and 5th: June 10th - 12th We will need to collect all Chromebooks by the last day of school. If your child does not turn the items in, the fines (per policy) are as follows: Lost/Stolen Chromebook: $300 Charger: $30 Case: $30

Parents, You can obtain bus information as well as information about your child's teacher for the 2024-25 school year by accessing Parent Portal. it will be open to parents on Friday August 30th. PGHS Spring Dance Showcase will be May 10th at 6 PM in the High School Auditorium. The admission fee is $3 (pay at the door).

NJSLA testing starts April 30, 2024, for 3rd- 11th graders. 1. Absolutely no personal devices for test-taking; it is considered a security breach. 2. Please have your student(s) bring their Chromebooks (inside cases) to school fully charged, along with their charger and earbuds or headphones.
