Whether you are a parent or guardian of a returning student, a new district resident, or coming to us from Lafayette-Pershing, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you and your child to the 2023-2024 school year.  As we begin the year, we continue to be committed to providing students with a safe and happy learning environment. As many of you know, I have been having medical issues with my hip. I will be having total hip replacement surgery in August. As a result, I will be out on medical leave for my recovery. In my absence, Ms. E.J. Shockley will be covering Field Street as well as members of the district administrative team. The students will be in great hands !!!
